自13歲便開始單車運動，曾在1998至2004年間多次代表香港參加亞洲多項單車比賽，當中包括亞洲錦標賽、全運會、環韓單車賽、環南中國海單車賽、環中國單車賽、環青海湖單車賽等等的大型單車比賽。香港本地賽方面，津仔多年來一直效力本地有名的南華體育會單車隊，他成功為南華體育會單車隊拿下很多本地公開賽的公路賽、場地賽與及爬山單車比賽項目的成績，在2004及2005年拿下穗禾路香港公路單車賽登山賽的、環香港單車賽的分站、2005全港山地車賽與及三人隊際計時賽等的本地賽事。而津仔對單車熱誠，令他認識到很多本地以致海外的單車朋友。
In the cycling sports since 13-year old, Chiu Siu Jun was a member of the Hong Kong Cycling team for more than 5 years (1998-2004). He has participated and performed well in many major races in the Asian arena including, Asian Championship, Tour of Korea, Tour of South China Sea, Tour of China and Tour de QingHa Lake. From year to year, he was the rider of the cycling team, South China Athletic Association, one of the most renowned cycling teams in Hong Kong. He has helped the team gain victories in many cycling races (in Road Cycling and Mountain Bike Cycling) in Hong Kong, including Hill climb champion for 2004 and 2005, stage winner of the Tour of Hong Kong 2004, cross country mountain bike series champion in 2005 and the 3-man team time trial Champion. His participation and passion in cycling races have earned him not only popularity but also friendship of many cyclists, local and abroad.
